Binomial name: Psidium guajaba

It is a small tree or bush, about 4 m height, although it can reach up to 6 metres.

Origin: native to Central America, it is cultivated in countries of tropical climate.

Medicinal values: it provides the diet a high content of vitamin C, it has an antioxidant role (because of the vitamin A) and it is recommended for some diseases, such as cardiovascular disease.
